Design and build means one team is responsible for the whole job — the design thinking, the drawings, the consent and the build — instead of you playing go-between with a designer, an engineer and a builder who each assume the other has it covered. With Insite Builders, that responsibility sits in one place.
When the people pricing your project are also the people who'll build it, the design gets tested against real construction as it develops. Details that look good on paper but cost a fortune on site get caught early, in conversation, rather than turning up as a variation after the contract is signed. You see realistic numbers while the plans are still easy to change.
We start with a consult on your site and your brief. We develop the concept and working drawings together, then we put together a fixed-price proposal with everything itemised, so you know the scope and the cost before you commit. From there we manage the consent process, coordinate every trade directly and keep you updated through the build until handover.
Design and build suits new builds, major renovations and extensions — anywhere the design and the construction are closely linked. If you already have an architect, we're happy to build to their plans and work alongside them.
We're NZCB certified and Licensed Building Practitioners, and every new build carries the HALO 10-Year Guarantee. You deal with us directly, not a rotating project manager, and if something needs sorting after handover, we own it.
We build across Tauranga, Papamoa, Mount Maunganui, Bethlehem and Pyes Pa.
We have used Andy and the team Insite Builders for all of our building projects over the past 20+ years, on both our family home and our rental property. There is simply no one else we would trust. Andy's workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail are second to none, and he acts as project manager himself, coordinating all the trades and saving us the time, cost, and stress of engaging someone separately. After more than two decades, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andy to anyone looking for a builder they can completely trust.
